The lock-on function enhances comfort during extended use. Designed with an ergonomic grip and angled nozzle, the blower ensures optimal handling and effective debris removal.
Additional features include a battery protection circuit to prevent overheating, over-discharge, and overload, ensuring durability and tool longevity. Please note that this model is not compatible with Makita’s G-Series batteries.

It provides up to 430% more work capacity compared to traditional Ni-Cad batteries and is 40% lighter than Ni-MH batteries. Makita DC18RC Compact Fast Charger
The Makita DC18RC charger is a compact, high-speed charger compatible with 14.4V to 18V LXT lithium-ion slide batteries (excluding G-Series). It features an active cooling system that keeps batteries at safe temperatures during charging, ensuring longevity and safety.
Charge times vary by battery capacity:
- 2.0Ah (BL1820B): 24 minutes
- 3.0Ah (BL1830B): 22 minutes
- 4.0Ah (BL1840B): 36 minutes
- 5.0Ah (BL1850B): 45 minutes
- 6.0Ah (BL1860B): 55 minutes
